Today we’re sitting down with Lisa Li, a woman after my own heart, founder of The Qi, bringing us organic whole flowers for our tea sipping, tonic concocting pleasures. Rose, Lotus, and Chrysanthemum. Single flowers with a multitude of benefits. The Qi is this overarching conception of something that, with beauty and grace, addresses this need for us to reconnect with our earth’s resources, with those around, ourselves; and yet, still manages to speak to our modern-day demand for efficiency.


Harvested once a year in Western China, between 5AM-8AM so as to secure peak nutrients, essence, and aroma, Lisa is working with family-owned farms to share these little, but mighty blooms, so that we may share externally, care internally, and you know, kick back a little. Anais Nin said it best, “The day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
