In recent years because of the booming real estate that we have experienced since the bottom in 2009, a lot of people were successful investing. Whether they were professionals or individuals or companies, success in real estate investing was easier because we had a strong back wind. When we invest in flawed properties but are enjoying a strong back wind, the margins eat the mistakes or observing the mistakes. Looking into the future if we are going into a slower real estate economy, which I could be wrong about it, then the back wind is not going to be there to absorb those mistakes. As an investor on whatever level of investing you practice, you should be more attentive to details, potential issues and problems in ever healthier size of skepticism to make sure you do whatever you can to avoid flawed properties.
