Listen "168. Being Seen Without Performing"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode, I’m talking about visibility, but not the kind that requires performing, overexplaining, or turning yourself into someone you’re not.
I explore how teaching can be one of the most aligned, ethical, and grounded ways to grow a healing practice, especially for practitioners who don’t see themselves as “teachers” or experts yet.
If you’ve ever thought, “I don’t have anything to teach,” or worried about copying someone else’s work, this episode is for you. Teaching isn’t about delivering a method or training others to work on people. It’s about creating a safe container for people to experience something you’ve already embodied.
I also talk about why in-person experiences are especially powerful right now, how teaching deepens your own embodiment and confidence, and why you don’t need to perform to be seen, just to create space for learning and practice.
✨ In this episode, I cover:
Why teaching doesn’t mean performing or positioning yourself as the authority
The difference between teaching a method vs. teaching a felt result
How embodied learning creates connection and trust
Examples of simple, ethical teaching ideas for healing practitioners
Why teaching actually builds confidence instead of requiring it first
This episode is an invitation to stop waiting until you feel “ready” and start sharing what you already know—slowly, simply, and with integrity.
