On today’s episode we talk about health hacks and habits that can help you navigate grief. When I starting writing this episode I thought of several that I wanted to include but chose to narrow down my list to six health hacks that you can use to move your mind from fight or flight to rest and digest. Diet- focus on whole food nutrition and avoid processed inflammatory food as much as possible. Manage your stress- walk away from activities and people that make you feel more stressed and overwhelmed, study your Bible, journal or color. They can help you to feel calm in the midst of great sadness. Sleep- Sleep is essential for detoxification, weight loss and managing your thoughts and improving your mood. Walk- Walking daily, will lift your mood, improve your bodily functions and help you to sleep better at night because of your exposure to the sun.
