As they say, “We are better together.” They discuss how loneliness has become a growing issue among older adults and explain the mission of the Graceland Center - a community resource dedicated to improving the well-being, connection, and quality of life for older adults. Peggy and Dr. McKnight emphasize how essential social connectedness is for mental, physical, and emotional health. They also highlight a special upcoming event on Monday, November 17th at the Tri County Urban League from 1-4 PM, designed to help older adults reconnect through activities like public education sessions, physical activity, line dancing, and more.
