Episode Synopsis "Decarbonization Dialogues: Avi Garbow"

For this season, the RENEW team will be interviewing friends and colleagues throughout the energy industry in order to learn from their expertise and to get their perspectives on how to collaboratively build a sustainable future. In the second episode, Charlie, Mike, and Nathan are joined by Charlie's good friend Avi Garbow, a seasoned environmental lawyer with a long history of climate advocacy and plenty of experience creating and promoting legislation to regulate carbon and mitigate climate change. The group drinks an IPA from Stone Brewing while discussing Avi's career, including his position as general counsel for the Obama administration, his work with the EPA, and his role as environmental advocate for the company Patagonia. Listen in and you will also learn about Avi's favorite brew, his first beer, as well as which historical figure he would choose to sit down and have a drink with.
