Wow! What a difference a week makes! If you are anything like me, you are going blind on the coronavirus updates – bad news on top of bad news – each day, more closures, more predictions for how long this will last. It can be exhausting! This morning, my hope is that we are encouraged by the Word of God revealing the character of God. My hope is that the Word of God will inspire and influence our thinking more than the news. It seems easier and easier to be worked up into a frenzy in light of current events, but can you BE STILL in light of all that is going on in our world today? Can we find rest in the midst of chaos and depend on god? Can we have certainty in the midst of uncertainty?
