No one wants to be left out or caught off guard. We all like to be prepared. But being prepared isn't something that happens automatically, so it's not uncommon for us to make choices that make life easier but leave us less than ready for what comes next. As we'll learn from today's parable, when Jesus comes back to the earth, you want to be ready. You must be prepared for that day, because when He arrives, it will be too late to set things right. The Bible says it in both testaments: today is the day of salvation.
