(09:03) American Colonies and Lesser Magistrates: Today I finished up looking at a few examples of lesser magistrates by considering the American colonies. Under whose authority were they founded? Did they answer to the king or parliament? What was the phrase "no taxation without representation" all about? And was the American War for Independence a just war?
