She is an independent director of financial advice firm Lifetime, Board Trustee of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, and Deputy Chair of both Mindful Money, and the Diabetes Foundation Aotearoa. Kate worked almost 10 years at FTSE 100 company Legal and General in the UK, which is the 10th largest investment management firm in the world by assets under management (according to Wikipedia).
