Moses prays for wisdom to number our days, for joy to match our suffering, and for God’s favor to make our work matter. Ultimately, Psalm 90 points us to Jesus—the only one who fully knew God's wrath and bore it for us. In Christ, we are brought home. He became flesh, dwelt among us, and made a way for eternal belonging with God. Jesus isn’t just the one who leads us home—He is our home. Through Him, we find mercy, joy, meaning, and eternal rest. Though life is fleeting, in Christ, our forever home is secure.
