Listen "Stay in the Process | What's Working Is Still Working"
Episode Synopsis
Sometimes what feels heavy isn't breaking you at all—it's building something eternal. Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:16–17 that even when the outward man feels worn, the inward man is being renewed day by day. What looks like fatigue on the surface is often formation underneath. God is not measuring your progress by how energized you feel, but by what He is strengthening in you over time. The struggle isn't that believers are doing wrong. The struggle is that they're doing right and getting tired before the harvest shows up. Paul was stopping them from fainting while renewal was already happening invisibly. The lie we believe is that if we're worn out, nothing good must be happening. The truth is the opposite: daily renewal is taking place even when the body and emotions feel strained. Growth requires an identity shift. We have to become people who trust invisible renewal more than visible comfort. This battle shows up anywhere discouragement makes us question the process instead of trusting it. The move is simple but demanding—stay consistent one more day without demanding emotional confirmation that it's working. Paul wasn't minimizing pain; he was reframing it with eternity. Beginners measure progress emotionally. Mature believers measure it spiritually. Muscle doesn't grow during the workout—it grows in recovery. In the same way, God strengthens the vessel internally before He ever increases the load. If you quit because you're tired, you miss what's already forming. Hell wants you to stop because you feel worn down. Heaven invites you to trust what's being rebuilt. Show up today without evaluating how you feel. You're not breaking down—you're being rebuilt. What feels light now is producing something weighty later. Don't faint. Stay present. Pray, then remain. This is how you finish strong. https://www.patreon.com/godlovessmalltalk https://open.spotify.com/show/4Vk6QIlNiEG2Y5Vv4p3UVc https://podcasts.apple.com/us/search?term=god%20loves%20small%20talk
