Dr. Lisa Morris, Member of the House of Independent Bishops with the Universal Gnostic Fellowship and biblical scholar, talks about the subject of Gnosticism. Gnosticism is an ancient religion that seeks the Divine within one's self by meditation, prayer and stillness.
Dr. Morris believes that the remnants of this ancient religion are being given new life with the discovery of the Gospel of Thomas and other gospels that failed to make it into the Christian canon. The quest for the historical Jesus is incredibly popular especially with the success of The DaVinci Code, The Law of Attraction, The Secret and renewed interest in Kabbalah.
