Aunt Debbie, my great aunt to be exact, was born and raised in Washington, DC before relocating to Southern MD in the 80’s where she raised five sons and touched oh so many between her time on the maternity ward, school system and working with the elderly. A self-proclaimed “source of information,” Aunt Debbie comes to so many as the voice of stories untold. From moving to a city that was 20 years behind it’s time to surviving and in turn thriving after the loss of her husband to raising boys into strong and kind men, Aunt Debbie is the truest example of a strong, bold, BADASS BLACK WOMAN! Tune in as we discuss ancestry, the power of information, soul friends and everything in between!
