A blessed New Year everyone. Goodbye 2023. Welcome 2024. Let us always learn to leave the past behind, live the present, and embrace the future, for it is as bright as the promises of God. We can start our year right by starting our day with God. Scripture says in Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God.” Success can be an everyday experience by starting our day with having quality time with our Creator and Saviour, in His life-giving Word and prayer. The day-to-day challenges will always be around, but by starting our day with devotion to the One who knows us well and what lies ahead, we will receive strength, wisdom, and guidance.  Real success comes when we know God in His Word and learn how to respond godly to the daily challenges and the negativities they may bring. Discouragement, disappointments, and doubt can cripple our life. It can kill our enthusiasm and destroy our present and future. But we can make a choice. We can choose to be discouraged, disappointed, and doubtful or to overcome them. With God’s help, we can overcome and succeed. Start your year right by starting the day right. Spend quality time with God in His Word and prayer. By His grace, we can make it a lifestyle. God’s Word said in Psalm 1:1-2, Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.  May you live the blessed life daily in Christ as you make your personal devotion to Him a daily practice. Amen.
