“Do everything without complaining or arguing”. - Philippians 2:14 No one goes higher in life without a godly attitude. As the saying goes, “Our attitude determines our altitude”. Paul’s timeless instruction to the Philippians speaks of this truth. Do everything without complaining badly, and don’t be quarrelsome.  Complaining or grumbling is a bad attitude. A chronic complainer loved to murmur, criticize, gripe, and harp against people, things, or situations. You can't please a chronic complainer. They are perpetually unhappy. Nothing is suitable for a grumbler. Everything is wrong.  This attitude is tiresome. It is also contagious. They can affect others' peaceful composure and make them miserable. It is not wrong to complain about insects in your food, someone who is always late for work, the constant noise in your neighbor during midnight, and quarrel with someone who is a bad influence. But it is wrong to complain that you don't do a solution, even with minor things.  Habitual complainers are usually very negative in their tone and attitude, always blaming and angry. It can be more of a whiney tone. Paul said, do everything without complaining and arguing. Argumentative people, on the other hand, love to quarrel. There is no peace in their hearts, so there is no peace when they speak. To rise above every situation in life, do everything without complaining and arguing. We must imitate Christ’s attitude that leads to His exaltation—HIS HUMILITY. So, let’s do everything with a grateful heart and appreciation, for it commands not only the respect of others but is an excellent attitude to follow. Promotion ultimately comes from God. May you do everything without complaining and arguing and rise above in every situation in life.Amen
