Spyros did his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, in the US. He has a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor (US), where he also finished his PhD.
