In part two of A Matter of Generosity, Pastor Kevin will point us to the MODEL of our generosity—Jesus Christ, who “though He was rich, for our sakes He became poor, that we through His poverty might become rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9). We learn how Jesus, as the model of our generosity, focused not on His own possessions but humanity’s need, responded to that need not out of compulsion but voluntary compassion, and was willing to give sacrificially, knowing that His sacrifice had eternal implications.
