Are you still dealing with insecurites? It's really hard to deal with especially when you've experience life trauma that caused you to become that way. It's never easy, but you have to get a hold of it, because if you don't here's what will happen:

You will lose a good man
You will lose good friends
People will become distant with you
You will literally drive yourself crazy

Don't hold things against people who had nothing to do with your past.   Don't run people off. 
Build your self-esteem, and become more secure.
