Adam Mervis joins Nikki to talk about his latest film "National Champions" available in theaters nationwide Friday, December 10th. Adam Mervis wrote "National Champions" as a stage play and adapted it into a screenplay in 2018. The story follows a D1 quarterback who boycotts the national championship due to unfair labor practices. As an athlete performing at the top of his game he is demanding that people realize the unfairness in the NCAA. How much money is surrounding these players who are the ones putting their futures on the line every game with no compensation.
