Listen "AEW, NXT: Keith Lee, Jay White debut on Dynamite; Vengeance Day preview"
Episode Synopsis
AEW promised big announcements on Dynamite and delivered with Keith Lee and Jay White making debuts, while NXT hyped next week's special show with an extended build for Vengeance Day, including a surprise appearance from Dolph Ziggler. Host Adam Silverstein dives into both products, covering the hits and misses across the brands as each have even larger events in their sights. "The Silver King" starts with AEW [5:30] where he fawns over Lee's return to being Limitless but criticizes Tony Khan for not putting White in front of the crowd. Other topics include a tremendous Inner Circle team meeting, "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Lance Archer, Adam Cole's candidacy for the world title, horrible women's booking and a projected Revolution card. Next up, Adam breaks down NXT [43:25] led by a disappointing Mandy Rose vs. Kay Lee Ray women's title match before previewing Vengeance Day with Ziggler and Tommaso Ciampa inserting themselves in Bron Breakker vs. Santos Escobar, the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, more to come at Stand & Deliver in a couple months, and much more.
