Listen "When Life Gets Dirty W/ Dirty Dough Cookies Owner, Bennett Maxwell"
Episode Synopsis
Today's episode is potentially too sweet to handle for some of our listeners ;). Brandon Davis, host of the Get Over Yourself Podcast, interviewed the owner of Dirty Dough cookies. If you haven't been keeping up with the news lately, Dirty Dough is currently being sued by their larger and more obvious competitor, Crumbl Cookies. In today's episode, Brandon asks Bennett Maxwell about the successes and failures he's seen inside his journey of being an entrepreneur and how despite the fact that they are getting sued, how Dirty Dough continues to be growing at a rapid pace.
On the same note, Brandon dives deep into the topic of wellness and mental health awareness with Bennett. Bennett has 3 younger kids and recognized early on in his stage of being a father that kids these days are more susceptible to mental health concerns due to social media. As Bennet was trying to discover ways in which he could help the cause, he realized that a cookie company could actually help. Through Dirty Dough's messages of self-acceptance, looking on the inner appearance rather than the beauty of the outward appearance, and opening up wellness centers with each franchised location, they truly are trying to help the Mental Health Crisis around the world.
