In the book “Love Like That” Dr Les Parrott says, “Jesus tells the disciples they must follow his example with each other. They must become like servants, setting aside concern for position and privilege. They must place others above themselves. Through footwashing, Jesus unforgettably shows that service, not status, is what he’s about.” This week we focus on the love of Jesus that is self-giving and sacrificial in nature. Today we look at this timeless story of Jesus taking the form of a servant and washing His disciples feet. What an amazing display of self-giving love and as Christians we have been called to Love Like That as we live a life of love that is focused on the love of God and the love of others.
