In this episode we're in Titus chapter 2 verse 12, and last week Pastor Bart was explaining why we have to be careful not to get the cart before the horse spiritually speaking. That's exactly what happens in our spiritual lives when we try to earn God's grace through our goodness. We put the cart before the horse, and we're destined for failure. Here's the big take away  from today's passage - it's not about what YOU need to do. In Titus 2:12, Paul tells us what GRACE is doing. Grace is instructing us. Grace is teaching us. Grace is the one doing the heavy lifting in our sanctification. We've been conditioned to think: "If I'm good enough, THEN I'll have God's grace." But Scripture flips that completely upside down. The truth is: "BECAUSE you have God's grace, you can live a life that’s pleasing to God."Grace saves you, then grace sanctifies you.Today, we're going to discover how to stop putting your spiritual cart before the horse and start letting grace do what only grace can do - transform you from the inside out.
