Ten Finalists for the Basque Culinary World Prize have been named, one of whom is Selassie Atadika of Ghana who we’re showcasing. Overall winner to be announced 16 July 2019. Organised by the Basque government and the Basque Culinary Centre, the Basque Culinary World Prize is awarded to trailblazing chefs whose work has had “an impact outside the kitchen”. The ten finalists were selected from a total of 150 chefs from 42 countries. Selassie Atadika is opening doors of opportunity for Ghana through food. This and more including Pietro Caliccio of PwC on the firm’s latest Africa Hotel Outlook report which suggests the hospitality sector will remain positive in the next five years.
