After numerous delays I decided to start afresh with a new Season, and for the first episode I had to look at all of the nonsense going on with Warner Brothers after the Discovery buyout. From cancelling Batgirl to the restructuring of the DCEU to everything going on with Ezra Miller.
However the biggest part of this episode for me involved a thought experiment, where I tackled what I would do with the DCEU using the existing framework, the upcoming films, and the full comic universe at my disposal. What stories would I build to, what characters would I include, and how would I try to wrap this universe up? Obviously DC soon announced their own plans, but I still think my ideas were interesting and fun to explore.
