The Coalition has released their follow up to Gears of War 4 and have a lot to prove when it comes to gaining the trust of Gears fans. Gears 5 does a lot right in terms of making the Gears franchise more accessible to newcomers but also finally moves the franchise forward when it comes to characters and storytelling. From the new open-world lite setting, the stellar presentation, and overall level of polish that very few games achieve, Gears 5 is a game on Xbox Game Pass you should not pass up.
