Listen "FoS Tony Donné"
Episode Synopsis
🚀 The FUTURE of SPACE (FoS) video podcast is a candid and informal conversation between myself and leaders, investors, innovators, educators, celebrities, movers and shakers who are shaping the future of humankind into outer space and here on Earth. Just like how two friends would chat and philosophize together, with one thing missing, a glass of wine! 🚀
Our Guest today is Antonius Donné. Tony is the former CEO of EUROfusion, a European consortium of 31 national fusion research institutes in 26 EU countries plus Switzerland, UK and Norway. Before that, he was head of the Fusion Physics Division at the DIFFER - Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research and responsible for the coordination of nuclear fusion research in the Netherlands. In 2023, he co-founded Frontiers in Energy Innovations. Tony is Chair of the Science and Technology Advisory Committee of General Fusion and a member of the Fusion Expert Committee advising the Bavarian State Government.
