Hi Friends!!  Welcome back to the Full Surrender Podcast with Carol Faye.Today’s episode is all about what it means to pursue a Christ-centered life. As I look around especially on social mediaI see so much division and hostility. Many people in todays culture are being led by their fellings and validate things that truly do not honor the Lord, validate lies, and sin.  We live in a culture that is quick to take sides and quick to cancel. The message often sounds like: “If you don’t agree with me, you’re wrong.” Or, “If our views aren’t the same, I’ll unfollow you.”Even among people who call themselves Christians, the posts and opinions I see being shared often contradict the very Word of God. And that’s dangerous, because when our opinions become louder than Scripture, we’re no longer being led by truth we’re being led by culture and flesh. I truly believe that it is possible to love the things of the world more than we love God. And those “things” can look like money, success, fame, sexuality, abortion, marriage, politics.. You name it. Anything can take the place of God if we let it. But here’s the hope: when we truly seek the Lord first and keep Him at the very center of our lives, it changes everything. It changes the way we speak, the way we respond, and the way we treat people, even when we disagree. Our lives begin to reflect Christ, not the culture around us and the things happening around us.
