Diagnosed with FSHD as a teenager, Ryan's unwavering determination has never allowed his diagnosis to stand in the way of his dreams. In early 2015, Ryan and his wife set sail from their home in San Diego, California, embarking on a voyage along the Mexican coast and across the Pacific Ocean to the Islands of Tahiti. Since then, they've embarked on an exploration of the remote islands and atolls of the tropical South Pacific, immersing themselves in a myriad of activities such as surfing, diving, kiteboarding, swimming, and even creating music within the cozy confines of their on-board studio.
