Listen "From the Frontlines: How Does ADL Navigate the Divide Between Right and Left?"
Episode Synopsis
"From the Frontlines" is an ADL podcast. It is hosted by ADL New York/New Jersey Director Scott Richman and focuses on ADL's efforts to fight antisemitism and hate in the United States and around the world. The frontline against antisemitism and hate often comes down to the question of where you draw that line - in the center, to the left or to the right on the ideological spectrum. Literally, every day, ADL has to draw that line. It has no choice, as it is part of its DNA to respond to important, and often controversial, issues. How does ADL manage this ideological divide, and how does it fend off attacks from both the left and the right by people who feel that ADL should be acting differently? This is the fundamental question that is dealt with on this show. Kenneth Jacobson, ADL's Deputy National Director, joined the show to offer his expert reflections on this topic. This podcast originally aired as a radio show on WVOX 1460 AM.
