On today's episode we welcomed Kyle Van Lant! He was one of Jacob's students in youth ministry a few years ago and since then has graduated from Long Beach Poly High School and is currently enrolled at UC Irvine. After the oft-discussed topic of too-hot vs too-cold preference, we had full conversations about the purpose and model of fraternity life and how Kyle found himself in one. We also talked about Kyle's journey into competitive cycling and the peaks and valleys he has experienced in that world. Kyle is also a fantastic writer, so we got a sneak peak into the science fiction world he has cultivated in his mind, and he got a soap box moment to remind us that creativity lives in all of us.
