Brother Justin Carter continued the study of the book of Colossians this Sunday. He emphasized Colossians 3:8 that reminds us to rid ourselves of those things that are not pleasing to God. In order to fulfill this mandate, we must guard our hearts and not allow the world to be the matrix for our conduct. Paul clearly juxtaposed those things that are pleasing to God versus those that are not. Our goal is to put off the corrupt things and put on or embrace those things that encourage purity in Him. Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Selah
