This week’s episode comes on the wake of DMX being in the hospital fighting for his life after allegedly overdosing and having a heart attack. What made me want to talk about accountability is because yesterday someone I follow who is known in the industry by rappers in the NYC area. He has had a business in the Bronx for decades and some would consider a staple in the Bronx. He made a post being funny, cracking a joke about DMX relapsing. To say the least it was tasteless and not needed at all. It was not funny and inconsiderate to those who are suffering because of what is happening to DMX. But a Hip Hop artist held him accountable, brought him on his IG live let him speak his piece and allowed others to discuss their views. It made me think that we should be held more accountable for our actions. Maybe if we are held more accountable we would have less problems in the world. Anyway Happy Easter to all my friends and family, Happy birthday to Charon and to Nette who celebrated it 4/3/21.
