Why do we do what we do? Why do we sacrifice and lay down our lives? It's because there is a glory that we are aching for in this life. Until we get His glory in the right place we will never be satisfied. There is no glory big enough outside of the glory of God that will fill our soul. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on losing our life for God's glory. Anything that doesn't have God at the center of it will be destroyed—the only way you destroy your old life is by self-sacrifice and picking up your cross daily. Let's let His wondrous glory fill our vision as we live for something greater!
