Episode Synopsis
An elegy for Harald Hult, based on his composition "Function Junction", and including samples from the vinyl single made for his 50th birthday, many years ago. Harald passed away in mid May, 2018, 78 years old. The cover is a detail from the cover drawing for said vinyl single, and was made by Gunnar Lundkvist.
Harald ran the label Blue Tower Records, among other things producing my first recordings in the 1990's, and ran for many decades the legendary ANDRA record shop in Stockholm, where he also organised informal concerts during the 1990's. He was a constant force in the many waves of creative experimental and improvised music in Stockholm and Sweden, and a mentor on music to many young players.
