Listen "Waterfalls"
Episode Synopsis
Waterfalls from very high are the most beautiful spot to see in nature, according to me. Water that is falling from a pretty great distance away makes a big, splashy visual impact, and can be really, really apparent. The manner in which the water falls over the brink and tumbles downward in one unending stream displays the assertion of the force of gravity in a direct manner.
The difference between the stillness at the top and then the movement as it falls straight down, you can see. Upon striking the bottom, it often makes a mist, or a spray, and this kind of incident increases the general effect without being too complicated to comprehend.
Tall waterfalls are most often seen in regions where there is a sharp break in the land. It frequently occurs in mountains or at sites with high cliffs. The height of the waterfall’s makes it appear bigger and more significant than lower small waterfalls. The longer drop also means the water has more time to break into smaller streams as it falls, which produces more appreciable patterns.
All the way down, you get a view of the entire shape of the waterfall from top to bottom from far away.
They may be of different shape and size, according as the stream is wide or narrow, and according as the land slopes or is level. There are waterfalls as narrow and almost as straight as anything man could put in and other waterfalls wide and in numbers broken like a broken bow. The changes to the surface of the land change the way the water moves.
