Episode Synopsis
In this episode, we follow the journey of Pietro De Laurentis – an Italian Sinologist whose deep passion for Chinese calligraphy has turned him into a bridge between East and West. From his first trip to China in 1998 to his current role of teaching Chinese calligraphy history at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Pietro has spent more than two decades immersed in the rhythms of Chinese culture. Along the way, he's wandered through ancient stele forests, unraveled the mysteries of thousand-year-old scripts, and helped bring Chinese calligraphy to global academic prominence.
