Hello May!! It's time for me to sit down and do a little mid-year evaluation. Yes, I know it's not really mid-year yet, but the summer gets a bit chaotic for us, so I'm getting it done now.
You know, I feel like I am on repeat with the self reflection and evaluation, but it’s something that you absolutely have to do on the regular. Otherwise, you’ll blink and months will have gone by. It’s easy to fall back into past patterns and habits, so the more you reflect and get real with yourself, the faster you can make sure to correct course and get back on the track you want to be on. The truth is, self reflection and evaluation is something we must do all the time…we are never done.
Today I want to share with you the 4 questions that I ask myself over and over and over. They align perfect with health and wellness, but you can also apply them to just about any other thing that you are working on. In fact, regardless of what goal you are chasing, I would ask myself these questions on a regular basis.
Am I getting results?
Am I taking care of myself?
Is this sustainable?
Am I enjoying this?
I don’t care what goal you are chasing. It doesn’t matter what works for me, for Josh, for your friend, or for your spouse…you have to do what works for you.
You are you.
You have to do what works for you.
Get results, but take great care of yourself in the process.
Make sure you enjoy what you are doing.
Understand that it will be hard.
Anything worth doing is going to require you to work, to get uncomfortable, and to grind a bit.
But don’t run to the programs promising quick results.
Small. Sustainable. This is where you see people change for good.
