Have you heard the saying "Try, try, try again, then give up. No point looking like a fool." Does that ring a bell? I've never heard a more self-limiting saying in my life.
If you want to achieve greatness, or just achieve a goal, you keep going no matter what. If you don't, then maybe your goal isn't the right one.
