Solomon is probably one of the wisest human beings to ever walk this earth. If you really study out what that man did, he was raised in the fear of the Lord. He began to rule in the fear of the Lord.  Kings, nobles, ambassadors, and queens would come from far distant lands, to see how he ran his nation. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. He walked in such great wisdom, but he didn't treasure it.  The wisest man in the world left the fear of the Lord, and so can we... So how do we avoid the drift? We fear the Lord.
