Growing up on the water, Nathan spent much of his life working on Peconic Bay, dredging scallops, clamming, and fishing, which shaped his connection to the region and its marine environment. As President of the Southold Town Baymen’s Association, he has been involved in clam reseeding efforts and initiatives to improve water quality, giving him insight into the challenges and opportunities facing Southold’s waterfront.
