Today's guest is Amy Wilkerson, LCSW, a transracial, international adoptee who as an advocate for the adoptee community, as well as running her clinical practice Copihue Counseling. This episode is Part 1 of 3, where we will talk about the misunderstandings in the adoption narrative, and the lacking adoptee voice from that narrative. Next week will be Part 2, and we'll talk about how we should be approaching adopting, and best practices for anyone anywhere on the adoption journey.
