When I told them I wanted to teach from John 15, they were quietly concerned. They didn't tell me until after the conference that John 15 had in their church history been a passage that divided their congregation. I tell you this because I know this is a chapter with some challenges. We can get rattled by phrases like "cut off". We get nervous about salvation security at a couple of points in this chapter. I truly believe we don't need to be worried about being cut off from Christ. Our salvation is a gift rooted in the love of God. I loved talking with Stephanie about this chapter.
