About Barbara: I help people dig through trauma, fear and anxiety to discover, embrace and grow in their true identity, as the person they always knew they they were. I have over 10 years experience in the field of education, coaching and counselling. I have worked with people learning to live and identify with HIV and other chronic diseases; with bereaved people adapting to a new country and language as a result of war; with people from the LGBTQ+ community learning to express a new identity and to lead a different life; and with women experiencing social or cultural alienation due to a range of factors. In addition, I have personally gone through a journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance and growth in both my personal and professional life beyond and in spite of a lifetime of traumatic experiences, from childooh sexual abuse to domestic violence, workplace bullying and miscarriage.
