We’re just one week away from Easter weekend! We have been praying for all of you, asking God to give us opportunities to share Christ. This week, we’ll wrap up our series on different styles, personalities, and gifts, focusing specifically on invitation. We’ll look at John chapter 1 and explore the different approaches we see with various people.There’s often a lot of pressure when we think about evangelism in our own strength. But when we view it from a biblical perspective, we realize the pressure is off us. Our job is to invite people to Jesus—not just to our church or our thing. And as we see in scripture, Jesus will handle the heart and head work.It’s freeing to see how the disciples responded to questions and doubts about Jesus. In this story, the simple response is, "Come and see."Some of us need to be better at waiting on God's timing. Some of us need to stop sharing and inviting altogether. And some of us need to be more active.
