After many years of mixed success and frustration, I finally got an opportunity to get a shot at an animal. My nerves got the best of me though and I completely missed my target. I was crushed. As I reflected on what happened I realized my breathing was all over the place, my heart rate spiked, I got way too excited, and forgot all my routine of shooting an arrow.
I was pissed at myself.
