Missionary candidate Dan Soukup visited with his family and preached on the missionary heart of God from the parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-31. God rejoices over sinners who repent and warmly welcomes those who repent and turn to Him. If we are living in sin, we should repent and receive God's forgiveness. If we have repented and turned to Christ, we should rejoice in our forgiveness and forsake sin more and more. And if we have received forgiveness and rejoice in it, we should join God in seeking other lost sinners and rejoicing in their repentance and salvation.
