Listen "Making Choices, Getting Out of Stuck-ness, Self-Celebration and Finding Your Everyday Joy with Tamu Thomas"
Episode Synopsis
Today I am speaking with Tamu Thomas, the founder and coach behind Live Three Sixty. Having worked as a social worker for fifteen years, Tamu felt stuck and trapped in her life and dove into a period of research into self-development and neuroscience in order to better make sense of herself. Finding the wellness world overwhelmingly millennial and Western orientated, Live Three Sixty was born as conduit to help women in their late 30s and 40s escape the cult of busyness and cultivate their joy. This episode was a pretty mind-blowing one for me to record, as we talk about Tamu’s research, the concept of everyday joy and how to find and seize it, feeling stuck, self-celebration and making life feel like a verb. Here's what we talk about in this episode:Tamu's journey & business backgroundWhat has worked well and the strategy used to grow Tamu's businessEstablishing your values and what gives your life meaningPositive PsychologyDealing with your inner criticEveryday joy and the approach to finding and ceasing itLife as a verbDoing things in a conscious waySeeking supportGoing from survival to thrivingSelf celebrationFor links and resources discussed in the show, see the full show notes.Kayte on Instagram Tamu Thomas on Instagram
