Harris Beider is the Head of School of Social Sciences and Professor of Community and Policy at Birmingham City University. Harris was the Chair in Community Cohesion and Head of Social Relations at the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University.His work has been featured in The Nation, The Guardian, The Huffington Post and BBC TV and national radio.
